ملخص عام للفيلم :عاجز عن الاتصال و عن التحاور فاصبح بشكل ما غير مرئي..غير موجود بشكل حقيقي بالنسبة للعالم من حوله..و بالنسبة للدولة هو مجرد رقم قومي..يصبح هذا البطل مرئيا فقط عندما يموت.لنكتشف ان الراوي الذي يزودنا بالمعلومات و التفسيرات حول هذا البطل ما هو الا المحقق الذي يحقق في موته..الذي يغلق ملف القضية..لتتحول حياة البطل لملف مغلق في ارشيف منسي..ما هي الضغوط االتي تمارس ..اقتصادية ..اجتماعية ام سياسية؟

Raqam Qawmy or (National ID) is a short feature film inspired by a novel written by significant Egyptian novelist Youssef Idris entitled (19502).

General Description of Raqam Qawmy (National ID): The film depicts a young man who is unable to connect with the outside world. As a consequence, he became invisible to the people around him. For his state or government he is just considered a person holding a National Identification number among many others, which in return ensures his existence in the real world. The protagonist only becomes visible when he dies. Then we will figure out throughout the plot that this young man’s life was only recognized when the story teller in the film, who is also the official or the detective in the protagonist’s mysterious death case, started his investigations. When the case was terminated, this protagonist’s life turned to be just a closed document in a forgotten governmental archive.
Throughout the film, many questions were posed to the audience. What are the reasons that led to the protagonist’s tragic death? What kind of pressure was this young man facing? Was his death an outcome of economic, social or political strains?
